hey everyone,
just wanted to say a quick thanks to everyone. your love and support definately has been felt immensly. i dont know what i would do without my friends and family, i wont name any names but i would especially like to thank the two who were at my bedside with a basket of candy the first night i was here, and they know who they are.
as you can see from the pictures below my room and alot of the hospital is very festive and ready for christmas. this definately helps lift peoples spirits.
ive been in my room here at the hospital since november 15th. ive been able to keep myself pretty occupied for the most part but it definately gets boring sometimes. however i did manage to luck out and get a room that is more quiet and secluded from the rest of the "pod" as they call each of the 4 wings in the ICS.
everyone is always asking what they can do, or what they can bring, etc. and honestly i dont have an answer for that right now. ive got all i need here
im sure you have heard of the amazing staff here. the doctors take the time to explain things and they arent done until youre out of questions. also the nursing staff is pretty great. they are always so happy and smiling.
also many have been asking how i have been sleeping... and actually ive really only had 1 night that i havent slept much. other than that i have been doing pretty well as far as that goes.
again thanks for all you do and i will try to update personally more often.

  2. Hi Tanner,
We got your blog address today at Church. So as soon as I could I got on to see how you and your family are holding up. We've been thinking and praying for your family for days now. (Quin & Brielle never forget you in their prayers) Brielle insisted on writing you a message (already posted- She typed it herself). She had to look at your pictures with the dog a bunch of times. She said, "Tanner is so cute." We really hope all goes well. And we will keep praying for you and your family! Please, let us know if anything what we can to do help out you or your family! Take Care! Liz
p.s. You have the cutest nephew!! It was great to see him too!

  4. Hey so i met you at the ducky derby. your mom was one of my wish granters. we both know that these trials come anf happen for a reason, but sometimes we dont know the reason until the battle is over. i have a quote that i heard once that i have always used throughout my life expecially throughout the tough times. "obstacles are just opporatunities in disquise." you have been called to serve a mission maybe it starts here right now at primary Childrens. Remember who you are. Remember you are never alone. keep holding strong.we are never given something that we cannot handle. from one cancer survivor to another...-Allisa Berry
