Tanner is once again back at PCMC for round number 3. He had a good 2 weeks at home. Although of course it was not long enough. We got the results for his marrow aspiration last Thursday and it came back with no cancer cells seen. We do now know that they do have 2 donors lined up that are a 10 out of 10 match for his marrow transplant. That is good news!!! He is in a room on the 3rd floor for now. I expect that they will move him upstairs to ICS tomorrow to "D"pod. I have been told that they have good views of the valley as opposed to the rocky rooftop. The room here on the 3rd floor is not a good area for him to be in when he starts chemo as is is not a "clean" setting like the ICS is. So we know this is definitely short term. He is anxious to get started and be done with this round so he can move on the transplant mode. I know we have been slow to update but things have been uneventful and (trust me) that is a good thing.
As always the thoughts and prayers on our behalf are appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Robert
It was good to see you (Robert) at the store the other day. Wish we could have stopped by but it seems like someone in our house is always sick. Sounds like things are going good (as good as they can be I guess!). Hope to see you ALL soon and know we think of your family and especially Tanner often! You are in our prayers.
