well, we made it. we are home! we arrived around 4 yesterday afternoon, greeted by balloons and a poster set up by my awesome sisters. we got all set up with the home health care and they spent a good part of the night. i still have an anti biotic every 6 hours through IV but that only takes half an hour so we should be able to take care of that ourselves before too long. also as of right now i am still on TPN (IV nutrition) from our run in with tiflitis last sunday. however i was cleared to slowly work my way back up to eating normally again as long as we dont have any pain or nausea with that. so we started small today with applesauce and ramen noodles and that seems to be going good so hopefully i will be done with the TPN early or middle of next week.
it feels so good to be posting this from the comfort of a glowing christmas tree and the view from our own home. most of all my dog staring up at me waiting for me to throw her ball or get out the laser pointer.
also everyone asks when visiting hours are and i would love to see each and every one who takes the time to read this. however please also understand that after being bedridden in the hospital for the last month, i am fatigued very easily and dont have alot of strength. hopefully some of that will return as i begin to eat for myself and move around the house more. like i said before i would love to see everyone but please call and let us know and we will be more than happy to have you. we plan on staying for a couple weeks assuming no complications arise, and the longer we are here the higher and more stable my immune system will become.

I talked to Harris' tonight and they said you are there doing a blessing of Shayna's baby, this is 12-21-10, and glad to have you in such good spirits. Somehow I caught another respiratory infection, so cannot come until I am better. Know our family shouts for joy and if the boys are well, will have to come over. Shiloh popped the question and Jett said yes and he is engaged! Wow. Sage is dating Siera Mortenson, whom you may know. She is currently with her girlfriend who was an exchange student in Norway for the next few weeks, so he is a pretty lonely soul...LOL Enjoy the food and company and we wish you the Lord's choicest blessings.
